DESCRIPTION:1st Copthorne Scouts invites all of our seniors in the village to come together for a (free of charge!) afternoon of games\, chatter and afternoon tea. Hosted in the village hall\, conveniently central to the village\, we usually see a great turnout of our older members of the community. Our Beavers\, Cubs & Scouts are ready to host an afternoon of entertainment that will put a smile on everyones faces. \nWe usually offer a free pick-up and drop-off service if required\, organised by Matterhorn Explorer Scout Unit. Please look out for information in the village magazine and on Facebook (Copthorne Locals group). \nGates open at 17:30\, Fireworks at 18:30 and Bonfire lit after the fireworks. \nBBQ\, Bar\, Refreshments\, & glo-sticks/light toys available. \nPlease note there will be a road closure in force on Borers Arms Road between 17:15 and 21:00 to allow the event to take place safely. A signed diversion will be in place and parking available in Borers Yard (signposted).
